As I sit here reflecting on 2025, I’m struck by how much we all carry.
I want to start by saying thank you. Thank you for your support, your love, and your incredible patience as I’ve navigated my own path this year.
This year wasn’t just a string of highlights. It was a year of obstacles too. There were moments where the “shitstorm of life” felt like more than I could hold, where the path forward was blurred by doubt, exhaustion, and the weight of expectations.
And for me, a big part of that storm was finally facing something I had been avoiding for a long time.
For so many years, I stayed “strong.” I went with the flow. I kept it together.
When I lost my parents, I did what I thought I had to do: I stuffed my emotions down and kept moving. I told myself I didn’t have time to fall apart. I needed to be the strong one for everyone else.
But ignoring grief doesn’t make it disappear. It waits, and it waits, and it waits some more!
And this year, it caught up with me. When it finally hit, it was like I was hit by a truck. The emotions I had been stuffing for so long came rushing back all at once.
As overwhelming as it was, I realized that feeling those feels was the most important thing I could do for my growth. I learned that “being strong” isn’t about being a brick wall; it’s about having the courage to be vulnerable.
What I’ve learned through this is that we are not meant to weather these storms alone. As women, we have this fierce, BEautiful capacity to empower and support one another through the messiness of life.
When we stop pretending and start sharing our truth, we realize that together, we are undeniably stronger.
For a long time, I thought I had to BEcome someone else to be worthy. This year taught me that the most powerful version of me was already there, buried under the “shoulds” and the suppressed emotions.
The same is true for you.
You don’t need to be fixed; you just need to be remembered.
As we stand on the threshold of 2026, I find myself leaning into a question:
What if…?
What if you stopped waiting for the shitstorm to pass and learned to be your own safe harbour?
What if you finally gave yourself permission to feel everything you’ve been stuffing down?
What if 2026 isn’t about changing who you are, but finally having the courage to BE who you are at your core?
What if you decided that you were worth the same love and patience you give to everyone else?
I’m stepping into this new year with a commitment to speak more truth and to hold more space for the journey of BEcoming.
